Consider the rational number 23. Both the numerator and denominator of this number are positive integers. Such a rational number is called a rational number.

So, 34,57,29 etc. are positive rational numbers.

The numerator of 35 is a negative integer, whereas the denominator is a positive integer. Such a rational number is called a rational number.

So, 57, 38, 95 etc.are negative rational numbers.
