Construction of a triangle with two given sides and icluded angle (S.A.S)

2. Construct △ABC in which AB = 6 cm, BC = 7 cm and ∠B = 45°

STEP 1: Draw a rough sketch of the triangle and label it with the given measurements.

This helps visualize what we're going to construct Label vertices A, B, C and mark the given measurements

STEP 2: Draw a line segment AB of length 6 cm

Use a ruler to measure and draw the base, Mark points A and B at the ends

STEP 3: Draw a ray BX making an angle of 45° with AB

Place the protractor at point B Measure 45° angle from AB Draw the ray BX

STEP 4: Draw an arc of radius 7 cm from B, which intersects BX at C

Set compass to 7 cm radius Place compass point at B.

Draw an arc to intersect ray BX, Mark the intersection point as C.
