Chapter 2: Sets > Cardinality of a Finite Set

Cardinality of a Finite Set

The cardinality of a finite set refers to the number of elements present in the set. It is denoted by |A|, where A is the given set.

Example:

1. If A = {2, 4, 6, 8, 10}, then |A| = 5 because there are elements in the set.

2. If B = {apple, banana, mango}, then |B| = 3 since there are elements in the set.
